Common Questions
What actually happens during a tune-up?
A full precision inspection and cleaning of your system — electrical connections, refrigerant levels, drain lines, blower, safety controls, and a fresh 1" filter. We do it twice a year: once before cooling season and once before heating season, so problems get caught while they're still cheap.
How does the smart thermostat work on Comfort Plus?
We install a Hester smart thermostat during your first tune-up visit — no separate appointment, no install charge. It reports system health back to us continuously, so if something starts to fail we often know before you do and can reach out to schedule the fix.
Can I cancel?
Yes — any time, on either plan. There is no contract. The only thing with a timeline is the Comfort Plus thermostat: it is yours free and clear after 12 months. If you cancel sooner, you simply pay off whatever is left on it. Nothing else is owed.
What's the loyalty credit?
Every year you're a member, credit accrues toward a future system replacement — $50/yr on Comfort (up to $400) and $100/yr on Comfort Plus (up to $800). It applies automatically when you're ready to replace your system.
Do I still pay if something breaks between visits?
You'll pay for the repair itself, but never a diagnostic or service call fee on a covered visit — and you get 15% off parts and labor on either plan.
What if I have more than one system?
Each additional system is +$9/mo on Comfort or +$12/mo on Comfort Plus, and gets the same two tune-ups a year and full coverage.
